No confusion, really --
but the "we" is a relief
from pretending no divisions
between layers running deep.
Silence crushes differences
as though they were not there,
keeping them in darkness,
never free to breathe the air.
They need to let themselves be "born" --
to feel themselves exist.
There is no other way to help them
consider synthesis.
